Stefano Cao / Chief Executive Officer
Born in 1951 in Rome, Stefano Cao holds a degree in mechanical engineering. He has been CEO of Sintonia since February 2009. He spent 24 years at Saipem Spa, the international oil and gas services group, most latterly as Chief Operating Officer and then Chairman and Chief Executive. Stefano left Saipem in 2000 and joined Eni where he served as Chief Operating Officer of the Exploration & Production Division from 2000 to 2008. At present he is a Director of Atlantia S.p.A., Autostrade per l'Italia S.p.A, Gemina S.p.A., Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A., Sagat S.p.A., Aeroporti Holding S.r.l., and Aeroporto di Firenze S.p.A.
Valerio Bellamoli / Chief Operating Officer
Born in 1960 in Verona, Valerio Bellamoli holds a degree in civil engineering from Padua University and an MBA from Insead. He has been COO of Sintonia since April 2008. He spent most of his career in banking, with Italian and international institutions (IMI, MCC, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Barclays Capital). At present he is Chairman of Investimenti Infrastrutture S.p.A., CEO of Schemaventotto S.p.A., and a Director of Autostrade per l'Italia S.p.A. and Gemina S.p.A.
Massimo Lapucci / Investment Director
Born in 1969 in Rome, Massimo Lapucci has a degree in business administration and a post-degree in finance. He is World Fellow at Yale University (USA). In January 2009, he joined Sintonia SA as Investment Director. Previously, Massimo has been responsible for M&A and strategic planning in Ferrovie dello Stato S.p.A., the holding company of the Italian railways group. He also worked as business planning manager for Telefonica group and as a manager in Ernst & Young LLP, mainly in the transportation, utilities and telecommunication sectors. Massimo currently serves in the boards of Schemaventotto S.p.A., Autostrade per l'Italia S.p.A. and other companies in Italy, Poland, Brazil and Chile.
Andrea De Donno / Investment Manager
Born in 1979 in Milan, Andrea De Donno has a degree in Civil Engineering. He has been with Sintonia since 2009, focusing on portfolio management and new investments. Prior to that, he was Associate Director at investment bank UBS in London, where he provided financing and advisory services to corporate clients in Italy. Andrea started his career at Arup, the engineering consultants.
Anna Marinoni / Administration, Finance, Control
Born in 1973 in Milan, Anna Marinoni holds a degree in business administration and a master in administration, finance & control at SDA Bocconi. After 2 years in Oracle, she spent 8 years first in Kraft Foods Italy and then in Ferrero International Luxembourg as business controller. She joined Sintonia SA in April 2008 where she is in charge of the finance, control and administration and the corporate affairs of the company.
